Roses submerged in liquid nitrogen, cooled down to -195,8°C, and shot with an airgun.
James let out a huff for a laugh as she led him into the pitch. There was a broom in the very center, enchanted to float in the air. Kassandra admitted the problem was that she had forgotten how to fly and James just smirked. “Well, that is a problem, isn’t it?” he played along. “Looks like I’ll have to reteach you now, won’t I?” He made her mount the broom and before telling her to gently kick off the ground, he pulled her towards him to place a soft kiss on her lips.
Kassandra placed a hand over her mouth in attempt to control her giggles that threatened to erupt. She merely nodded to his words, glad to see that he was playing along with her plan. Kassandra carefully climbed unto the broom like he instructed, but without further instructions, he pulled her into a kiss. How was it that her heart still leaped when he kissed her? When he started to pull away, she leaned into him, not wanting the kiss to break. But she apparently leaned too far, for she started to slide off the broom.
James leaned over a bit as he walked to look past some trees, he knew he had seen something familiar in the distance, but wasn’t exactly sure if they were going where he’d though. As they got closer, he chuckled and shook his head. “The pitch?” he asked Kassandra. “What are we doing here?”
Kassandra’s lips turned up slightly as she looked back at him with a sudden glint in her brown eyes. She had too much fun surprising him with things like this. Keeping her eyes locked on his, she continued to pull him inside. She stopped when they reached the wide, open stadium. Letting go of his hand, she went to stand behind a single broom that was held up by a spell. She lightly stroked the long body, then spoke softly, “Suppose this is where I tell you what’s wrong…” Kassandra’s lips pursed before her eyes flicked up to him. “I’ve forgotten how to fly,” she said with a small sigh and with, perhaps, a little too much innocence. Of course, she hadn’t really but she hoped he would take the bait all the same.
“What are you smiling at?”
“I could ask you the same thing.”
*shrugs* “I’m just smiling at my beautiful girlfriend.”
*lightly blushes, shaking her head* “You’re adorable.”
